BADMINTON champions from Haslingden High School smashed their way to become Rossendale champions.
Rossendale School Sports Partnership organised badminton final was held at All Saints Catholic High School on March 13.
The Haslingden team of Hannah Carter, Isobel Wright, Lucie Stansfield and Chloe Sheridan played singles and doubles matches against students from Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School and All Saints and they won every single match.
Hannah said: “We ranked the members of our team 1 to 4 and then one and two also played solo matches and we all played doubles.”
Isobel, Chloe and Lucie are also members of Rossendale Badminton League so are used to playing matches.
Chloe, who also played as a single got the best winning score of 15-3.
They all received a medal and certificate for winning.
