Through a broad and varied study of Information Technology, Computer Science and Digital Skills, our students will become effective digital citizens. We aim to develop resilient individuals who are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to overcome future challenges. Students have the opportunity to become competent users of a range of IT and computing devices, and build appropriate troubleshooting skills. Programming, by its nature, requires perseverance and experimentation, and ultimately creativity. We will provide ample opportunity to embed a strong set of values and beliefs, leaving students with the cultural capital to be responsible digital citizens. Staying safe online and developing a positive digital footprint are vital for today’s young people. We are providing education for living in a connected world.
Our ambition is to motivate and inspire our future computer scientists, and to provide a solid footing for all to fully harness the opportunities of living in this technological age.
