Message from Mr Clarke – 3rd September 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope that the past few weeks have provided the chance to make special memories, spend precious time with loved ones and to enjoy the sunshine that thankfully made a regular appearance.

Yesterday saw one of the highlights of the school calendar as we welcomed our new Year 7 and Year 12 students into our school community. It was genuinely heart-warming to see the excitement and pride on their faces as they embarked on this new stage of their educational journey.  For us as staff, it remains both a privilege and a joy to play a part in shaping their futures. We are confident that these cohorts of young people will bring great energy, curiosity and ambition to our school and sixth form, and I am confident that they will contribute positively to our community in the years ahead.

At the start of this new academic year, I want to take the opportunity to highlight the value we hold in the partnership between school and home. Together, we can ensure that every young person has the very best chance of success, not only in their learning but also in their wider personal development, and ultimately ensuring ‘Achievement for All’ is a realistic prospect for all students. Parents and carers play a vital role in helping children to thrive, and there are three key areas where your support can make the greatest difference this year:

We are fortunate to have a community of parents and carers who consistently go above and beyond in supporting both their children and the school; for this, I am truly grateful. Your encouragement, your insistence on good routines and your commitment to working in partnership with us make a significant difference.  As we embark on the year ahead, I am filled with optimism and excitement about what our students will achieve. With your continued support and the dedication of our talented staff, I know this will be another year of growth, success and memorable moments.

Thank you once again for all you do to support your child and the school. I look forward to sharing many successes with you in the months to come.

Very best wishes
