As Mr Jackson has mentioned in a previous letter, the decision to revert to remote learning for the school to address the rise in Covid cases does impact on some Y13 students who have some assessments still outstanding. Of course, we want these individuals to have the opportunity to demonstrate what they know so these will still run as follows:
DAY | TIME | SUBJECT | STUDENTS REPORT TO |
Tuesday 25th May | P1, P2

Where all assessments have been completed, teachers will not be setting work for the remainder of the week. However, for those subjects where assessments remain outstanding, individual subject teachers will be in touch regarding any work required to support students.
I am sure the students were looking forward to their ‘last day’ on Friday but this will have to be postponed given the restrictions on large gatherings and the fact that some will miss it due to having to self-isolate. I am looking at the feasibility of celebrating this at a later date and I will provide further information about this in the near future. In the meantime, thank you for your support and understanding and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact sixthform@haslingdenhigh.com
Best wishes,
Ms Marsland
