As we start to re-open school next week, I would like to inform you of the arrangements we will have in place to provide free school meals for children.
Students in Years 11, 12 and 13 for whom we have received consent and who are attending school for a Covid-19 lateral flow test on Monday 8 March, will be able to collect a packed lunch from the school canteen at the time of their test. Students who are not attending school for a test on Monday 8 March, may also collect a packed lunch on this day from the school canteen, between 9.00am and 11.00am. Those students returning to school on Tuesday 9 March, will receive their lunch each day as normal.
Students in Years 9 and 10 can collect a packed lunch for Monday on that day between 9.00am and 11.00am from the school canteen. Those students for whom we have received consent and who are attending school for a Covid-19 lateral flow test on Tuesday 9 March, will be able to collect a packed lunch from school at the time of their test. Students who are not attending school for a test on Tuesday 9 March, may collect a packed lunch for two days, on Monday from the school canteen between 9.00am and 11.00am. Those students returning to school on Wednesday 10 March, will receive their lunch each day as normal.
Students in Years 7 and 8 can collect a packed lunch for Monday and Tuesday on Monday 8 March between 9.00am and 11.00am from the school canteen. Those students for whom we have received consent and who are attending school for a Covid-19 lateral flow test on Wednesday 10 March, will be able to collect a packed lunch from school at the time of their test. Students who are not attending school for a test on Wednesday 10 March, may also collect a packed lunch on that day, from the school canteen between 9.00am and 11.00am. Those students returning to school on Thursday 11 March, will receive their lunch as normal.
NB: All students who require a packed lunch will need to order it for the days they wish to receive one. Please email school@haslingdenhigh.com by Thursday 4 March with your child’s full name and form.
