FAVOURITE books were brought to life at Haslingden High School for World Book Day.
Pop up literary photo booths were installed around school, where students could pose as characters from Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland and other popular books.
There was also a competition for students to design their own props – the more imaginative, the better.
Staff also got involved by hiding the titles of books and authors on their person or around their classroom.
The last activity involved themed assemblies which were held throughout the week where authors read sections of their favourite books to encourage students to read for pleasure.
