March 2019: Homeless charity benefits from caring soup makers

CARING Haslingden High School students Jamie, McKenzie, Ciaran, Hayden, Gabriel and Alyssa made and sold soup to help a Rossendale charity.

The students were raising money for the M3 Project, based in Rawtenstall, but who work throughout East Lancashire with homeless young people aged 16 to 21.

It was the second year the charity has held the Big Soup Social and more than £1,700 was raised.
