TRAMPOLINIST Chi Ho Tang was placed first in the Bury Tariff competition held at Bury Trampoline Club.
Chi Ho, 13, attends Haslingden High School and Bury Trampoline Club and in March this year, helped his school’s intermediate U14s team to win the British title in the National Schools’ Trampoline Finals.
He said: “In this competition there were trampolinists from Bury and another club in Liverpool and we had to do a voluntary routine to include 10 jumps.
“The tariff difficulty could be between 1.5 and 2.6 and we had to perform the routine twice.”
On his first routine he was marked down slightly on execution but got full marks for travel and on his second performance he only lost 0.01 on travel but gained excellent points for execution.
Chi Ho also entered and won an over 15s team competition with three others, even though two members including Chi-Ho were under 15.
