CHRISTMAS cheer has been ringing out all over Haslingden High School over the last few weeks.
We have had talented students taking to the stage to perform a variety of different routines in our ever-popular Xmas Factor.
A spectacular Christmas Concert was put on by the music department. The bands are returning to strength thanks to an influx of talented and enthusiastic Year 7s.
Head of Expressive Arts Kevin Gibbs said the young players received a fantastic reception from the packed audience.
Some students also went off to view a professional pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk at Preston’s Guild Hall.
Christmas dinner was served to one and all and on the last day of term we held a non-uniform day. No surprise that after last year’s World Record attempt many chose to switch blazers and ties for Christmas jumpers.
Have a very Happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
