STUDENTS from Haslingden High School showed staff from different schools how an iPad can aid learning.
The six students were invited along with Biology teacher Paul Ridgway, who is also Head of Year 7 and an Apple Distinguished Educator, to an event organised by Jigsaw 24 at the Imperial War Museum in Manchester.
Mr Ridgway explained: “The students went to different parts of the museum and then showed staff, teachers and headteachers how the iPad could be used to enhance learning.
“They also showed how they could send their work to me and then I could then mark it and return it to the student’s iPad.
“The students were all in Year 10 and they all did really well. They found the experience very useful.
“In school we use different methods to mark the work submitted by iPad, sometimes we will put a written note on the work or we can create audio recording where we assess the work verbally and the student listens to the teacher’s comments.”
