KICKBOXER Max Constant showed his skills when he represented England in the World Kickboxing Championships and walked away with two golds and a silver.
Max, 11, a Year 7 student at Haslingden High School, won his place at the championships in Orlando, Florida, when he was just 10 and so competed in the 10 and under, over 35kg category.
In the solo competition he won gold for continuous and he also took part in team events where he won gold for continuous and a silver for points.
Max trains at Alf Love’s Kickboxing Academy in Stacksteads six days a week and has been kickboxing for just over a year.
He said: “I enjoy fighting the best. It was really hot out in Florida and it was really hard to train because of the heat. It was also really busy out there and there were lots of people in the competition.”
