GUIDED tours of Haslingden High School are being held over the next few months starting on Thursday December 3.
The school is celebrating its ruby anniversary this year; Haslingden High School was formed by the amalgamation of Haslingden Grammar School and Haslingden Secondary Modern 40 years ago.
As part of the celebrations, a number of events are being held including the coffee mornings.
Careers and Enterprise Co-ordinator Kate Seig-Hogg said: “We are inviting all past students and staff who are interested to come along and have a look around school and then to join us for a coffee or tea.
“The tours will begin at 11am and anyone interested should contact school on 01706 215242 to put their name down.”
Teachers who have been at the school since its amalgamation in 1975 will be leading the tours. Coming out of retirement will be Helen Demaine, nee Jones, and she will be joined by pastoral manager Gill Lynch, nee Durrant.
