PHOTOGRAPHER Beth Holt has combined her passion for working on the family farm with a love of taking photographs.
Beth, 15, from Haslingden, spends all her spare time on the farm in Edenfield run by her father Robert, grandmother Pat and aunt Diane.
The Haslingden High School Year 11 student has also set up her own Facebook page Hill Farming Photography and has nearly 3,000 followers.
She said: “My mum bought me a proper camera but I take most of the photographs with my phone because your camera is never there when you want it.
“I photograph everything on the farm and capture rural life. I take lots of photographs of sheep because we have more than 1,000.
“I have entered some of my photographs in competitions at agricultural shows and I got a third in Slaidburn.
“I love all things farming and I especially like the lambing season when the new lambs are born.
“As soon as school is finished I am straight up to the farm because I love helping out. I have always wanted to work with horses but now I want to work on the farm.
“It is in my blood and I enjoy it. If I didn’t do it then there would be no one to take over the farm and it is important that farming continues.”
