HASLINGDEN High School has been placed in the top six in England for advanced vocational results for 2013.
The national league tables list the top 100 schools in England with schools ranked on the average points scored per student.
The top five schools are all academies and Haslingden High School is the only community school in the top 10.
Deputy Headteacher Gill Smith said: “As a school we know how well our students achieve, but this external recognition is a fantastic endorsement.
“It acknowledges the hard work put in by students, their supportive parents and our staff who set high standards and encourage students to achieve their best.
“As a school we are very proud to be among the best in the country for advanced vocational results.”
