FUTURE scientists from Haslingden High School got to visit CERN – home of the Hadron Collider in Switzerland.
A party of twelve Year 12 physics students and two teachers Phil Rawlinson and Steve Croft explored CERN – the European Organisation for Nuclear Research – and were able to put their questions directly to the physicists and engineers who are probing the fundamental structure of the universe.
