BRAVE teenager Eleanor Driver said farewell to her lovely locks after her dad was diagnosed with cancer raising more than £2,000 for Cancer Research UK.
At the start of the Relay for Life at Rawtenstall’s Marl Pits, Eleanor, 15, from Rising Bridge, who attends Haslingden High School, had her shoulder-length brunette hair cut.
Freddie’s stylist Matthew Threlfall plaited her long hair. Eleanor then cut the first plait followed by her friends and family who each took turns to carefully cut the rest. The hair has now been sent to the Little Princess Trust to make wigs for children with leukaemia.
