STUDENTS who helped our school to be one of the best in the country were praised by the headteacher.
At the GCSE presentation night, headteacher Mr Jackson told parents, teachers and students the school was awaiting the outcome of the legal challenge into the controversial changing of grading boundaries for English GCSE papers, but added: “Despite the national decrease in GCSE results our students ‘ achievements were superb.
“Our GCSE results are consistently amongst the best in the country, and this year 96 per cent of students achieved 5 or more A*-C grades.”
