TWO of our former Physics students have found themselves offered a bright future by two major companies. Year 13 student David Bower won a sponsorship from Rolls Royce to fund his Business Management/ Physics Degree and, when he completes his study, the company has offered him a job. He had to apply and attend an assessment day and out of 1,000 applicants, 90 were selected for interview with just 10 places available. And year 12 Jacob Crompton has been accepted on to a selective apprenticeship scheme at BAe Systems where he will train as an aircraft engineer. Many congratulations to both!
