STUDENTS got to walk in the footsteps of William Shakespeare on an English trip to his birthplace of Stratford-upon-Avon.
The school trip was organised by Mrs McGinn and saw a party of 14 Year 11 and 12 students enjoying a behind the scenes tour at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
English teacher Mr Albiston said: “They got to see a production of the comedy Much Ado About Nothing at The Other Place theatre. It was in an Indian-style with an Indian cast and featured Bollywood music.
“We stayed overnight in a hotel and the students were excellently behaved. We all had a fantastic trip.”
