BUDDING actor Harry Simpson is hoping to follow in his father’s footsteps having already appeared on screen, stage and TV.

The Year 7 student is only 11 but has a string of credits to his name. He was ‘murdered’ on screen in Kill List, a horror movie starring Neil Maskell released in 2011 to critical acclaim.  He played the son of one of the leading characters in this year’s hit BBC1 drama The Accused and he will soon be returning to ITV’s detective series Scott and Bailey where he plays the son of Suranne Jones’s boyfriend. And in CBBC’s Stepping Up drama, about the transition from primary to high school, he played one of the main characters. Harry, and fellow student Sarah Frielick, 13, from Year 9, will both be on the stage in a new production at Burnley Youth Theatre in December.
