The Physics Geeks from our school visited nearby Broadway Primary during Science week to help younger students explore different concepts.
The Geeks are a group of students from all years who have a passion for physics.
They set up an experiment to launch a rocket powered by air pressure and used a laser pen and a bottle of water to demonstrate light refraction, along with a host of other experiments.
Luke Butler, 15, said: “The pupils really enjoyed it and they were listening all the time.”
As well as delivering the science lessons, the Geeks also raised money for school during charity day and helped out at the open evening.
